to the safe and unencumbered use of our Nation's waters.

Enlisting Ye Sprogs
aka
Join the Adirondack Pirate Paddlers Club!

  • Cost of Pirate Crew Membership - $15 per full or partial Pirate Year (October 1 to September 30) (e.g. $15 for 10/1/08 to 9/30/09, $15 for 6/1/09 to 9/30/09). (note- $10 for second year members; $15 w/new pirate sticker)
    • Send an e-mail to Smelly Ellie for payment instructions or give her payment in person.
  • Benefits of Membership
    • You will be able to place on the Bulletin Board Booty any trips, races, events, stories, etc…that you would like to share with others pertaining to paddling, hiking, outdoors, etc…as well as read what others have to share with  fellow pirate members. Members may solicit other crew members for mid-week, overnight, or out-of-town raids on the Bulletin Board Booty page, or on weekends when the Captain is in shackles and unavailable.
    • You will be able to advertise items in the Wench’s Warehouse Forum (classified) as well as buy, trade, etc.
    • You will be able to ask questions of fellow pirates regarding kayak paraphenalia in the Pirate Paraphernalia Forum.
    • If the club needs to vote on a particular matter, you will be able to vote and voice your opinion.  Plus, your suggestions are always welcome at anytime.
    • Pirate E-mails, upon request, will be given to, at their option, sprogs (raw recruits) who join up. Pirate e-mails are automatically forwarded to your address under your pirate name (e.g. Smelly Ellie) so if anyone wants to contact you, your home e-mail address is disguised. This is a benefit on the posts to the forum where your contact name becomes public information.
    • You will be able to submit photos for the Rogue’s Galley (photo gallery).  Send your electronic photo(s) to Mad Dog Mike or e-mail him for sending pictures by 'snail mail'.
    • Pirate stickers will be provided for identification of your land and/or sea vehicle.
    • Membership cards provide a 20% discount at EMS during their 'Club Days' courtesy of George Miller, Mgr. Wilton EMS store.
    • We would also like to plan a yearly picnic, party or dinner. Again, depending on how many members we have, will determine how much funding we will have left over at the end of the year for one or more of these events.
    • Drawings for offerings from vendors, when and if there are any.
  • We are a not-for-profit club. There are no paid pirates. All funds will be spent on items or services (e.g. cost to register our domain name and host the website) which benefit club members.
